1. Introduction

Brisbane Roar Football Club Pty Ltd; ABN 49 136 768 566 (“we, “us” or “our”) owns and manages Roar in the Community (RITC).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

By participating and or registering a child in any of our Events you accept these Terms & Conditions (T&C) policies and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree to accept these Terms & Conditions in full, you must not participate in or register anyone into any of our Programs.

2. Registrations & Payments

Only a Parent and or Guardian can register a child into our Events.

All registrations must be paid at the time of registering.

All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars.

The Fee/Cost for all Events is clearly stated during the online registration process.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Credits

The following policies apply unless otherwise stated in the Events Details during the online registration process;

100% credit or refund of the full Registration Fee/Cost paid when the customer provides RITC with an email notifying of the cancelation a minimum 7 days prior to the commencement of the Event;

50% credit or refund of the full Registration Fee/Cost paid when the customer provides RITC with an email notifying of the cancelation with Less than 7 days but more than 24 hours Notice of the commencement of the Event;

0% credit or refund of the full Registration Fee/Cost paid when the customer provides RITC with Less than 24 hours Notice of the commencement of the Event;

0% credit or refund once the Event has commenced.

4. Participants with Medical Conditions

RITC staff do not supply and/or administer any form of medication to any person attending our Events.

If a person has any form of medical condition that is deemed serious or potentially life threatening by a doctor then we must be provided with a signed “approval to participate letter” from a doctor, before that person can participate in any of our Events.
The “approval to participate letter” must clearly identify the medical condition and include a “treatment plan” so our staff can provide the information to Ambulance or any other emergency medical treatment provider if required.

We do not take responsibility for the implementation of any specific individuals “medical condition treatment plan”.

We do not take responsibility for any form of medical treatment other than emergency first aid while awaiting Ambulance or other medical professional service to the individual.

If our staff deem it necessary to call an Ambulance for any individual attending our Programs, then we will do that and any costs associated with the Ambulance or associated medical treatment is the sole responsibility of the parents of the participant.

If our staff believe that a child attending a Program is unwell then the parent will be advised as soon as practically possible.

5. Liability & Insurance

We conduct business with Policies of Public Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance in place.

All participants and/or their parents/guardians accept responsibility for any injury or illness arising out of or in connection with their participation in our Events.

Private Health Insurance may cover injury or illness arising out of or in connection with participation in our Events but please check with your own Insurance provider because this statement is not Insurance advice or Legal advice.

All participants in our Programs release and discharge us, our employees and agents, from any claim, suit, demand, expense or cost in respect of any injury or illness arising out of or in connection with their participation in our Programs.

6. Filming of Players Policy

We may film our Events, including the players, for the purposes of staff training and marketing material.

All footage is owned by us.

We are entitled to use the footage for an unlimited duration of time.

No royalties or any other form of payment apply to anyone participating in the footage.

We may use the footage in third party applications such as social media and other marketing avenues.

We may use the footage in the creation of content for coaching products created by us.

All footage is covered by our “Privacy Policy” below.

7. Player & Spectator Code of Conduct

All players in all our Events are required to conduct themselves within any Rules that may apply;

EG Events where competition games are played will be subject to the Rules for those games.

Swearing and/or abusive behaviour of any form is not permitted at all our Events.

All spectators are required to refrain from yelling at participants.

8. Player & Spectator Supsensions

We reserve the right to suspend any player and/or spectator found to be conducting themselves outside our Player & Spectator Code of Conduct.

The duration of all suspensions is at our discretion.

Suspended individuals will be asked to not attend our Events during the period of a suspension.

9. Changes to our Terms & Conditions

Please revisit this page periodically to stay aware of any changes to these T&C, which we may update from time to time.

If we modify these T&C, we will indicate the date of the latest revision, and will comply with applicable law.

Your continued use of our services after the revised T&C has become effective indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to the current version of the T&C.

We collect and use your personal information for any of the following purposes;

to respond to your enquiry via the contact form on our website;

to use data analytics to improve our website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences;

All practical RITC Event management.

The information we collect from you is stored using our Intrac Software System (Intrac).

Our security measures, and those built into Intrac aim to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed or accessed in an unauthorised way. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

Intrac is only authorised to access our data for practical system operational purposes, and all data is considered confidential.

We and Intrac have procedures to deal with any suspected or actual breach of your personal information and will notify you and any applicable regulator of any breach where we are legally required to do so.

8. Disclosure of Your Personal Information

We may share your personal information with the persons such as;

- Third parties who help us to administer our website and the business operations (such as our internet service providers, website hosting services, management software system, payment gateway providers);

- Professional advisers, including lawyers, bankers, auditors, credit assessors and insurers who provide consultancy, financial, legal, insurance or accounting services;
